Located on Black Oak Lake, 5 miles North of Antigo then 3 miles West just off Country Road J. Cottage is right on Langlade County ATV and Snowmobile trails. 2008 taxes were just under $2,000.
Two formal bedrooms, but cabin currently sleeps eight easily - with a full basement for the kids to sleep in if needed. Full kitchen (stove, Frig, microwave, Oak cabinets) including a breakfast bar. Walk-out basement. Interior of upstairs all reclaimed, tongue & groove cedar (except kitchen). Wide plank pine flooring in upstairs 6 foot by 32 foot deck off the front of the cabin. Fire pit. 10 X 24 drive under garage for boat and other toy (ATV etc) storage. Utilities: Fully insulated with Electric baseboard heat. 200 amp electrical, Electric water heater and stove, Drilled well, 3 BR Septic System.
Also includes: 40 feet of Dock (which you can leave in all winter because the lake gets no ice shoves) 8 X 10 foot diving raft Boat lift Lot is justover 1 1/4acres in size and has an awesome sledding hill located behind the cabin for those winter trips! The DNR has the lake size at 60 acres - but it seems bigger to me. It is chock full of Crappies, Bass and Bluegills - yet is big enough to ski/tube on. The lake IS NOT a no wake lake. Lake is very quiet. I have about 150 feet of frontage in a bay facing West. Very nice sunsets. Shoreline is fisherman on the left side of the dock, but sandy/rocky on the right.
DIRECTIONS: Go North from Antigo - 5 miles from where Hwy 45 turns into two lanes. Find County Road "J" and go West about 3 miles. Approximately 1/4 mile past the "Thirsty Bear Pub" is Black Oak Road (look close!). Turn right. Take next left which is Loop Road. Cottage is the only building on the "inside" of the road.
